Grizzly Waters Kayaking is named after the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area that is located in the Suisun Estuary, which is the largest on the west coast. The company was formed with the idea to get people outside and active. Our mission is to make people aware of their surroundings and get connected to the community.

Owner James, is a native Colombian who was adopted to the US. His passions include everything outdoors, finding secret swimming holes and hot springs, world travel, photography, wine and beer, and meeting new people. He is a professional healthcare worker and kayak guide. James has certifications in Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and has taken the Wilderness First Aid course.
