Super Moon Paddle

Sometimes this moon is referred to as the Full Long Nights Moon — a fitting name, since nights are longer at this time of year, and the moon appears above the horizon for a long time. This particular full moon makes its highest arc across the sky on this day because that’s when it appears diametrically opposite to the low sun. This will be the biggest full moon of 2017 and the only “supermoon” of the year.
